During the COVID-19 crisis, the Allied Arts Council office is closed however we working to raise $235,000 for the annual Arts Fund campaign.
We are in unprecedented and difficult times as our arts organizations adjust to how COVID-19 is affecting the creative sector. Just weeks ago, our partners provided places where we gathered as a community and experienced beautiful and inspiring moments together.
Today, canceled events and performances, dark theaters, and vacant galleries suddenly present a different reality — no immediate income for our local treasures and no assurance of when this crisis may end. The loss of revenue is a loss of the funds that provide paychecks for artists and staff and keep the lights on, coupled with a loss of powerful artistic experiences for people in our community.
Contributions to the Arts Fund are needed now more than ever before. If everyone pledges just 2% more than last year it will help ease some of their financial stress and move us closer to reaching our goal.
Your support is needed now more than ever. We ask you to support our community by investing in the arts.
Ultimately we want to ensure our organizations can weather this storm and are ready to re-open when it’s appropriate and be able to serve our community for many years to come.
Your gift now will help provide funds our treasured institutions will need to rebound quickly. Please go online and donate https://www.stjoearts.org/Arts_Fund.htm
